What makes the Riderbag Reflective Sling Bag different from regular sling bags?

Most sling bags are black nylon, which makes you invisible to a driver at night. The Riderbag sling is built around retro-reflective panels that bounce a car's headlights straight back to the driver, so you light up the moment you are lit. In daylight those same panels read as a subtle grey, so it still looks like an ordinary black sling bag.

How does the reflectivity work โ€” does it need batteries?

No batteries and no charging. The material is retro-reflective, not light-emitting. It returns headlight beams to their source, which is why drivers see you and why it works for as long as the bag lasts. It does not glow on its own in a dark room with no light source.

Can I wear it on either shoulder?

Yes. The interchangeable strap clips to D-rings on both sides โ€” unclip, flip, and clip to switch shoulders. You can wear it flat against your back, or rotate it round to your chest for hands-free access while riding or driving.

How much can the sling bag carry?

Three zones: a main compartment, a front quick-access pouch, and a hidden internal zippered pocket for ID and cards. It comfortably holds a phone, wallet, keys, a water bottle and a tablet up to iPad Mini size. External dimensions are 14" x 7" x 3", roughly 5 litres.

Is the sling bag waterproof?

It is water-resistant, not waterproof. The 600D nylon shell sheds light rain, road spray and sweat, and will keep your phone dry on a short ride. It is not built for submersion or sustained heavy rain.
